Vania
seminar
August
26 - 27th 2007
European Cultural Centre of Delphi
(Greece)
The
cultural field is undergoing huge changes mainly due to the
fact that globalization has transformed cultural creation
and production as well as cultural habits and consumption
patterns.
Although it is obvious that the cultural sector
increasingly operates in an European arena, it is far from
certain that cultural managers have the necessary skills to
effectively run transnational projects in this changing and
demanding environment.
The Vania seminar organised in partnership with ENCATC
(European Network of Cultural Administration Training
Centers), was the opportunity to present the results of
this two-years research we run in the training cultural
cooperation field, and debate the key issues it raises with
professionnals of the sector .
The topics addressed during the seminar were:
- the innovative training methods and tools in the field of
European cultural cooperation
- the skills and competencies needed to develop this
specific kind of project
- the possibilty to implement a validation and
certification process of training courses in the field
European Cultural Cooperation Project Management
